Check It Off!

Anyone else out there with an insatiable need to create lists whenever the opportunity presents itself? I am known as the QUEEN of lists in this house, and my hubby is always teasing me about my need to make a list for every situation/event/occasion.
Everleigh's school work? Make a check-off list.
My lesson plans for remote learning? Yup, a list for that, too.
Birthday parties (in the distant future)? You can bet there's a list for those.
Weekly to-dos and plans? LISTS ON LISTS ON LISTS.
I am constantly typing up (or handwriting, if I'm feeling fancy) a list for something. It helps me to keep myself organized and focused when I have a specific task at hand. It eases the overwhelming stress of knowing there's a thousand things to do, but not being able to remember every single thing. And checking off each task just sends a wave of accomplishment crashing over me. (You can tell little things like this calm me.)
One of the biggies that I use checklists for is cleaning. In our home, we clean every week: basics like wiping down the furniture, vacuuming, straightening, etc. Each month, I do a "deep clean" of our house. Usually, this consists of washing all the bed sheets/linens, scrubbing the floors, changing the shower liners, cleaning the baseboards, and so on. I usually do this at the end of every month, so the next month starts of fresh and new.
The past couple months, I've shared my monthly cleaning list (more like OCD chart) on social media. I've had a handful of friends and followers reach out to me and ask for a copy of the list for their own personal use. It felt good to know there were others out there just as list-crazed as I was, but the perfectionist in me wasn't too thrilled I handed them a hastily typed-up document that wasn't all that great.
Soooo, the past couple days, I've been working on creating a sort of "cleaning planner." This planner consists of weekly and monthly lists to help keep users organized and on-task with cleaning duties. I've put the documents in PDF form to share with all of you! They're minimalistic and easily printable. And the best part... they're FREE!
With this planner, you'll get:
weekly cleaning list (for those who clean each day)
weekly cleaning list (for those who clean all in one day)
monthly cleaning list (organized by rooms - up to 8!)
spring cleaning list (organized by rooms - up to 2 bathrooms & 4 bedrooms!)
yearly cleaning list
home maintenance list (monthly, annually)
There are a total of 10 pages in the planner. While they are not customizable, there are some blank areas that allow you to fill in tasks according to your own schedule and lifestyle.
If you happen to download the planner and share on social media, give me a tag (@kelseymeneghetti on Instagram and Kelsey Meneghetti on Facebook). I'd love to see these lists being put to use!
Make an overwhelming task into a simple, stress-less one with these practical cleaning check lists!
Happy (organized) cleaning!
XO Kelsey
